We’re delighted to announce that we’ve recently been awarded our ISO 27001 certification. This significant achievement shows that we’re managing your personal data securely so we’d like to celebrate it with you.

What Is The ISO 27001 Accreditation?

ISO 27001 is the international standard of specifications for an information security management system, or ISMS. ISO 27001 accreditation demonstrates that an organisation is able to manage personal data in line with these standards. An independent certification body can then audit the organisation’s ISMS to assess whether it continues to conform to the requirements of the standard.

Although it’s not obligatory, some organisations, as we have, choose to adopt ISO 27001 so they can benefit from the best practice it contains and reassure their customers that they’re following its recommendations. 

We’re all becoming more aware of how important it is that our data is handled correctly. As a result, regulators are placing increasing pressure on businesses and organisations to achieve accreditations such as ISO 27001.

As we’re now ISO 27001 certified, we can confirm that Kays Medical conforms to the highest information security standards. This means you can be confident that we’re handling your personal data correctly and securely. 

Our ISO 27001 certification is valid for three years. During this period, we’ll continue to manage our ISMS in line with the standards and auditors from the certification body will continue to conduct visits to make sure we’re maintaining information security.
