Bespoke Chemical Decontamination Training

Kays Medical provided Chemical Decontamination training, which goes into detail on injury treatment and patient management for hospital transformation.

It’s important for all employees who manage chemicals in their workplace to be properly trained if harmful ones come into contact with their skin. This can result in injuries that range from severe pain to death, so it’s important to know how to act and respond to mitigate the damage caused. Kays Medical provided Chemical Decontamination training, which goes into detail on injury treatment and patient management for hospital transformation.

Trainees take part in practical exercises and work with our decontamination product in-person for added experience. Plus, we offer bespoke courses that can be tailored to chemical hazards specific to your workplace, such as Hydrofluoric Acid, Cyanide, etc.

Course Objectives

All employees who are on site where hazardous chemicals are stored or used, including as a by-product, where Diphoterine®, Hexafluorine® or Calcium Gluconate Gel is the approved protocol.

0.5 days It is possible to run x2 Chemical Decontamination courses in one day if required.

  • Interactive PowerPoint presentation
  • Group and individual exercises
  • Q&A and sharing of knowledge/ experiences where appropriate

Continual assessment, no formal examination. Certificate awarded to successful candidates.

Groups: Kays Medical Training Centre or Client Site (Max. 12 persons)
