First Aid Skills Update Training Course

Course overview

The HSE (Health and Safety Executive) Strongly recommends that First Aiders undertake annual refresher training during any three-year FAW/EFAW certification period. This will help qualified first aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to procedures and practices.

What topics will I cover in this course?

The course syllabus will include:

  • Safety of all
  • Basic life support and defibrillation
  • Wounds and bleeding
  • Shock

All delegates will have the opportunity to discuss other topics.

Where would this course be held?

This course can be held at Kays’ training centre in Liverpool. Alternatively, training can be held at customer sites across the mainland UK and Northern Ireland (subject to appropriate facilities).

Course details

Employees already holding a current First Aid at Work Certificate who wish to continue practising as qualified first aiders in the workplace.
