This is a course for those working with or closely with Hydrofluoric Acid.
This is a course for those working with or closely with Hydrofluoric Acid. Where a risk of contamination exists, it is a Health and Safety requirement (L74, 3:15 guidance on First Aid at Work) that First Aiders have the knowledge and equipment to respond immediately. Even relatively low doses of Hydrofluoric Acid have the potential to cause serious harm or death.
Kays Medical’s Hydrofluoric Acid training complies with the standards and guidance given by HSE (Health and Safety Executive), CIA (Chemical Industry Association), and NPIS (National Poisons Information Service)
Kays Medical has many years of experience in delivering Hydrofluoric Acid training. Whether your organisation has Calcium Gluconate gel, Hexafluorine, or a combined protocol for Hydrofluoric Acid contamination, our training packages will meet your needs.
All employees who are on site where hazardous chemicals are stored or used, including as a by-product, where Diphoterine®, Hexafluorine®, or Calcium Gluconate Gel is the approved protocol.
